Career Technical Center
The Wexford-Missaukee Career Technical Center (WMCTC) is located in the beautiful northern Michigan city of Cadillac. Each year the WMCTC serves approximately 600 juniors, seniors, and adult students from seven public school districts and two parochial schools within a three county area. Students who attend the WMCTC have an opportunity to explore and train for career options in one of fourteen programs to help them prepare for career success after high school whether it is college, employment, or the military.
WMCTC courses are hands-on with academic training in ACT Work Keys for Applied Math, Reading for Information, and Locating Information. To assist students with preparation for college, the CTC offers dual enrollment credits. As part of the curriculum in each program, students have an opportunity to earn a minimum of four college credits at the completion of their senior year. These credits are awarded to students who successfully complete their coursework free of charge.
