CTC "Did You Know"
1. CTC has an annual enrollment of approximately 550 students.
2. CTC has 14 programs.
3. In 2007-08, the CTC was audited by the Michigan Department of Education as part of the Technical Review and Compliance (TRAC) process and was commended on several items ranging from Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO's), to our contracted Cosmetology program, and to our building facilities and staff.
4. CTC is funded by a local property tax millage (largest portion), State, and Federal grants.
5. Local districts within the Wexford-Missaukee Intermediate School District send their students to CTC at no cost.
6. CTC has a full service Work-Based Learning Lab that provides many co-op opportunities for students to go to work while enrolled in their CTC program in addition to improving their workplace readiness skills.
7. All CTC seniors have the opportunitiy for dual-enrolled credit through Baker College, Ferris State University or West Shore Community College at no cost to the student.
