College Application Week
College Application Week acquaints students with the college application process and communicates the importance of continuing education beyond high school including military training, vocational schools, certificate programs, two-year degrees, and four-year degrees. Many colleges and universities recognize and support CAW by waiving application fees during this week, so students can apply for FREE!
College Cash Campaign focuses targeted support around completion of the Federal Application For Student Aide (FAFSA). The most commonly cited barrier to education after high school is affordability. It is important that all students have access to the necessary funds to enroll, persist, and complete post-secondary plans. While FAFSA completion is only one step in the process it is the only way for students to unlock their access to federal loans and grants, statewide scholarships and grants, and often institutional and community based scholarships and grants.
College Decision Day recognizes high school seniors and the plans they have made for education after high school. It also encourages younger students and families to begin making their own plans.
