Three Wexford-Missaukee Career Technical Center graduates were inducted into the CTC Hall of Fame on Thursday, November 12, 2015 during the Annual Advisory Committee Dinner. The criteria to be nominated for the Hall of Fame are at least ten years post high school graduation, success in a career related to training received at CTC, and community involvement as an adult.
The Honorees are:
Andrew Anderson was a student in the Marketing Distributive Education program at CTC and graduated from McBain NMC in 1995. Andrew earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Ferris State University and a MBA from Davenport University. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Business Administration from Walden University. Andrew is the owner of a promotional marketing agency in Midland and is also an Adjunct Instructor of Marketing at Saginaw Valley State University. He volunteers his time for the Midland Noon Exchange Club, Midland Chamber of Commerce, and Leadership Midland Alumni Association.
Jason Stahl was a student in the Drafting program at CTC and graduated from McBain High School in 1994. While attending CTC, Jason worked as a co-op student at Wolverine Power in the position of a Junior Draftsman. He is currently employed at Wolverine Power Co-op as a Power Coordinator. Jason has participated in the Cadillac Leadership Class, Adopt-a-Highway, and has served as a coach for the Mesick Summer Recreation program.
Jennifer Wagatha was a student in the Business Service Technology program for 2 years and graduated from Mesick High School in 1983. She worked as a co-op student at the Mesick Clinic. She has studied to be a Medical Assistant at NMC, Henry Ford Community College, and Western Michigan University. She is currently employed as a school secretary at Mesick Schools. Jennifer volunteers her time for the Mesick Summer Recreational and AYSO programs as a board member and coach. She also helps as a scorekeeper at Mesick Schools’ sporting events.
